Moin.....

Dear Valued WiRES-X Node Owners;
Thank you for your patronage of the YAESU WiRES-X.
Please be informed that the latest WiRES-X PC Software (V1.510) has been released on our official website along with a firmware update of the FTM-400XD/FTM-400D and FTM-100D.
This update will enable the FTM-400XD/FTM-400D and FTM-100D to work as a WiRES-X Portable Node station as well as the FT2D.

Even if you do not intend to set up a Portable Digital Node, it is recommended that you update your WiRES-X PC software to the latest version (V1.510) because the latest version (V1.510) contains some improvements and optimizations to operate a WiRES-X PDN (Portable Digital Node) with the C4FM transceivers – FTM-400XD/D, FTM-100D and FT2D and a fixed WiRES-X node station with the HRI-200 as well.
Important features and update of the latest WiRES-X PC software (V1.510) are as follows;
1.
It is now possible to operate a WIRES-X Portable Digital Node with our C4FM digital transceivers - FTM-400XD, FTM-400D and FTM-100D.
(As of February 2019, the C4FM digital transceivers capable of portable digital node operation are: FTM-400XD, FTM-400D, FTM-100D and FT2D).
2.
During PDN (Portable Digital Node) mode or Portable HRI mode operation, when Connect Request is received from another node station during a call, there was a case that a voice interruption occurred. This was corrected.
3.
Sub-code Function : When the DG-ID of the node station is set to "00" (Open Node Station), it is now possible to set an additional two-digit Sub-code from "00" to "26".
When the Sub-code is set to "00", the C4FM digital signals of all DG-ID numbers are relayed. When the Sub-code is set from "01" to "26", only C4FM digital signals with a matching Sub-code will be relayed.
By utilizing a Sub-code, it is possible to avoid interference where there are multiple Open Node Stations (DG-ID number: 00) operating within local communication range of the mobile station (user station).
4.
Digital Only Room: We added a setting to the WIRES-X PC software to open a dedicated digital room that only Digital Node Stations can connect to.
(A node station connected with HRI-200 is required to open a room.)
5.
Other improvements and optimizations.
Note:
To set up a Portable Node with the FTM-400XD/FTM-400D and FTM-100D, the SCU-40 WiRES-X Connection Cable Kit accessory is required.
The SCU-40 will be shortly available at the dealers’ store. For any further details, please contact the dealers near your location.
However, if the PDN operation only in the C4FM digital mode is desired, only the SCU-20 included in the FTM-400XD/D and FTM-100D package is necessary to connect the transceivers with the PC.
You may immediately try and enjoy the WiRES-X PDN operation in C4FM digital mode with your FTM-400XD/FTM-400D or FTM-100D using the supplied cable – SCU-20.
Four (4) different types of operations can be enjoyable with the PDN function.
For any details, please refer to the latest operation manual which is posted in our official website
(

Thank you for your kind interest in this matter, and we hope you enjoy the WiRES-X Communication for years to come.
